This week was insane!! Really just today, we found out a ton of stuff about the mission. First of all transfers are here and I sadly have to leave the area. But Elder Record and I are both training missionaries!! I am going to Appleton!! It is about an hour the other way from Green Bay than Marinette! I am pretty excited! But the other big news is that our mission is getting Smart Phones!! So there is a bunch of stuff that we will have to do to get ready for that, but it will be cool!! So that is the big news. This week otherwise was pretty normal, there were some funny experiences though! For example, while tracting we met a guy who actually thought that the Earth was flat... and he argued it forever. So that was kinda weird. But also we were on a door step and inside we hear this lady yell "They're talkin bout Jesus I can't reject em" So we laughed and then this kid comes to the door and says "Not interested" and just shuts the door. So funny things happen! I enjoyed my time in Marinette and I am really excited to move to a new area and train again! It will be a blast!
As we prepare for Easter as well as General Conference I hope we all remember the Savior and what he has done. I know that He lives, and He loves each of us. I know He loves you! I know that He leads this church, and that we can hear that through the Prophet, President Nelson. Also 2 new apostles so that is pretty exciting! So make sure you tune in to General Conference! I hope you all have a great week!

Elder Van Orden!
This was a really fun week! We started with district meeting on Tuesday. So we were in Green Bay last Monday for P-day, and then we drove down again Tuesday, and then Tuesday night we went out to the middle of nowhere to do some work. We met Elder Van Orden in Crivitz, which is a small town pretty far west of our area. So we had a busy night Tuesday, and then on Wednesday we drove out back to Crivitz to drop Elder Van Orden off, and then drove down to Oconto. So Wednesday was full of driving, and then Thursday became a pretty normal day... except I was sick... So it was a little rough. But it was just a 24 hour thing and Friday morning I felt really good, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been. So then on Friday we were able to teach a lesson to a guy named Chris, and he told us he wanted to come to church! He couldn't come this week, but hopefully next week. We were also able to talk to another investigator twice this week. Her name is Patty. We talked to her and her friend for a little while on Saturday, and they invited us back again yesterday! So we are hoping to invite Patty to baptism this next week!! Other than that pretty much a normal week of work! It was good!
Here is a spiritual thought for ya:
There is a talk by Brad Wilcox called "His Grace is Sufficient", and it was quoted a lot by a speaker yesterday in our Sacrament meeting. But one of the lines I like in his talk is "Christ doesn't make up the difference, he makes all the difference". We cannot, under any circumstance make it back to our Heavenly Father on our own doings. We all will make mistakes, but thankfully because of Christ we have the chance. He makes ALL the difference in our lives. I know it to be true. I get to testify of it daily and I love it. I hope you all have a great week!!

Green Bay Round 2
So this week went by super fast! We had a ton of stuff at the beginning of the week! We had Interviews and District Meeting on Wednesday. Then we exchanged with the Zone Leaders. So I got to stay in Green Bay for Wednesday and some of Thursday with Elder Jeffs. That was super fun to be back in the old area and get to talk to some of the members again! We had a dinner with some members and then we went to the Ward Mission Leaders house for a meeting and he took us out to a restaurant. So we had 2 dinners!! It was super unhealthy but its whatever. Then Thursday we had a lunch appointment with a member who fed us a ton of food, and then had us help him move some stuff to the upstairs of his house. So we stayed really busy until Friday and then we did a lot of tracting. It was pretty good though! Finding lots of potential here in Marinette still! We have a new investigator this week we found and his name is Ken. He is super cool and seems pretty interested in what we have to say! So we are excited for him! But other than that we had a couple appointments fall through but we will be alright. Then church yesterday was awesome! We had a super spiritual sacrament meeting about the Atonement of Jesus Christ. So the spirit was super strong and then in Sunday School and Priesthood we talked about the importance of the Book of Mormon and then how our service can help us build our own testimony! So that was good! And we are going to Green Bay today for P-Day so I am pretty pumped!!
But here is a little spiritual thought for ya. In 1 Nephi 16 Nephi breaks his bow so they can't hunt as well. And instead of complaining Nephi of course goes and makes a bow out of wood. And then he asks his dad where he should go to hunt. Lehi doesn't just say where to go, but he first inquires of the Lord. I think sometimes we can try to do things on our own, like making the bow. But we have to rely on the Lord for the best results. If Nephi didn't inquire of the Lord as to where he should go, then they probably wouldn't have had food to live. I know that relying on the Lord is what we all need. He is the way, the light, and the truth. I love this Gospel, and I love the Lord. Hope you all have a great week!

Miracles are happening!!
Well this week has been super fun. We started out on Tuesday with District Meeting and then we came back and there was an appointment we had with this really cool family we thought would be there for a return appointment! But they weren't there so it was a little bit of a rough day. But then we stopped by on Thursday night to try and recontact them and they were home. The reason they had missed the appointment on Tuesday was because they had an unexpected funeral that they went to. Patty had just lost her brother. She is the mom of the family. But we were able to teach them the Plan of Salvation right after they had lost a loved one. It was a really cool lesson, and the spirit was super strong! So I am excited for this family! Then we also had a couple other miracles this week. One of our investigators has been in the hospital for the last 5 weeks and on Thursday we both felt that we should just go show up at his house because he wasn't replying to our texts. So we did that and he was there! It was his first day back from the hospital!! So we were for sure prompted to go there and get back in contact with him. We were able to teach him on Saturday. It was super cool. The rest of this week was pretty much a normal week, but it was good!
So here is a bit of a spiritual thought for you:
In 1 Nephi 15:24 we are told that if we are holding fast to the scriptures and studying them we will not perish and the temptations of the adversary will not be able to over power us. I know that through the study of the scriptures we can come to know how Satan will attack us and avoid the temptation. We have to realize that there is a lot of power the devil has. He can tempt us, we have to be able to resist that. The best thing for us to do is study the scriptures. I know that as we do that, and rely on Jesus Christ for help we will be able to withstand the temptations and nothing can stop us from continually growing closer to Christ!
Thanks for all your prayers and support!
