Sorry I am a day late today, we had what we call mission tour yesterday! We had a general authority come to our mission to tour it. So three of the six zones were all in Green Bay yesterday to listen to President Williams and Elder K. Brett Nattress of the 70! It was one of the most spiritual days of my entire life. It was amazing. So there is a lot that happened this week, that being one of them. It was cool. We also had a couple pretty cool experiences. We had interviews with President Williams last week as well, so it has been a crazy couple weeks! So there is a lot to talk about, but one cool experience we had while tracting. We usually don't get let in right away, but our focus has switched to trying to get in and teach people for 5 or 10 minutes right there when we knock on the door. So we got into this guys house, and we were able to teach and testify of the Restoration and the spirit was super strong and he said he would read the Book of Mormon! He is going to be gone for 2 weeks because of work, but we are super pumped for him!!
Here is a bit of some scripture for ya:
In 3 Nephi chapter 18 we read: "And whatsoever ye shall ask the father in my name, which is right, believing that ye shall receive, behold it shall be given you"
Christ is teaching the people that we must pray, and be close to him at all times. So don't be afraid to get down on your knees and ask. He WILL help you, but He is always there and willing to help. So do it! I know it works, I have seen it over and over.
I love you all!
Elder Reynolds
His testimony he shared with us this week in a separate email:
I am grateful for the opportunity I have to represent the Savior everyday, and I am so thankful for Him and everything He has done for me, you, and all of the world. If there wasn't anything else that I knew, the fact that God lives, and loves me enough to sacrifice his son for me is enough. I know that God lives, I know that Jesus Christ suffered for me, individually. He makes it possible for me. I love the words of "I Stand All Amazed". They say it better than I ever could, "Oh, it is wonderful, that he should care for me enough to die for me" I am so thankful for the chance I have to bear a witness of that to others everyday. I love Jesus Christ, and I love all that he has done for me. I am amazed at everything I have done wrong sometimes, but He has always done more for me. There is nothing I could do to pay him back, but I am doing what I can. Sharing His Gospel with the people of the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission is something amazing. I love it.
